DESCRIPTION:Downtown Art Festival is an event that showcases the vibrancy of our artistic community. There will be many galleries participating in a lively First Friday gallery walk on Friday\, October 3rd. \nOn Saturday\, October 4th from 11:00 am- 4:00 pm there will be an Artist Expo on Main Street between 3rd and 7th street. Join us for live art demos with CNMA’s Community Artist in Park\, Monica Esposito! She’ll be showcasing her creative process and offering prints of her Monument-inspired artwork for sale. Proceeds will benefit CNMA and help support the Colorado National Monument. \n \n

DESCRIPTION:Enjoy the morning with Monica Esposito while she paints live on location\, capturing the vibrant colors of the Monument’s iconic red rock canyons and desert vistas. Guests are invited to bring their own sketchbooks or paints—or simply come to watch\, chat\, and take in the scenery. This will be an open house type of event. You may come and go as you please.   \nMonica Esposito is a fine art artist and registered nurse located in Grand Junction\, Colorado. Receiving her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a concentration in painting from the University of Texas in 2001.
