Denise Wright\, a local artist and former teacher\, will read a selection of children’s books and guide young artists in creating beautiful snowflake art in the Colorado National Monument Visitor’s Center Auditorium. Children and parents can look forward to a morning of captivating storytelling\, hands-on art projects\, and the opportunity to appreciate the wonders of nature in the beautiful setting of the monument. \nParents can enjoy a 15% discount on the book featured during Denise’s reading at the Rim Rock Shop. \nWho’s Invited: Children ages 1-5\, accompanied by a grown-up. \nWhat to Bring: \n\nAn open mind and a sense of wonder\nKid-friendly scissors\n\nWhere to Meet: Saddlehorn Visitor Center Auditorium \nImportant Note: \n\nPark passes are required.
