SUMMARY:Explore Art in the Outdoors
DESCRIPTION:Join Denise Wright as we explore art in the great outdoors. \nEngaging in neurographic art amidst the serene beauty of Colorado National Monument offers a perfect blend of creativity and the great outdoors. Neurographic art\, known for its meditative and therapeutic qualities\, allows individuals to express their emotions through unique and flowing patterns. This artistic technique not only stimulates creativity but also promotes relaxation and mental well-being. Combine this with the fresh air and stunning landscapes of the Monument\, and a rejuvenating experience awaits you. \nNothing is needed but an open mind. Materials will be provided\, but you are welcome to bring your own sketchbook. \nDenise Wright is a retired D51 art teacher who has lived in Grand Junction for 25+ years. Denise loves the beautiful land we have in western Colorado and is excited to share that joy with you. \nClass notes: \n\nThis class is for teenagers and adults only please.\nPlease bring hiking shoes\, layers\, water\, sunscreen and a snack if needed.\nMeet in front of the Saddlehorn Visitor Center. We will then walk together to the Book Cliff Shelter area.\nPrepare for 1 mile of walking total.\nPark passes are required for entry. Please carpool when possible.
