Plein Air Submission Form

Thank you for your interest in submitting for the 2021 Colorado National Monument Plein Air Invitational.
This year the event will take place September 26th – October 3rd. The opening reception will be Friday, October, 1st.
The exhibition will be open to the public Saturday and Sunday, October 2nd & 3rd.

STEP 1 Please upload 3 images of artwork here: (make sure your 3 images have filenames that include your name, title, medium, and size, ex. John Smith_Bright Sunset_Oil_9x12)

    Deadline to submit is March 15th, 2021.

    Fee: There is a non-refundable fee of $35 to submit three plein air images of your work.

    Notifications: Notification of participation will go out via email on or around May 1st, 2021.

    Awards: Over $3000 in awards and prizes

    Eligibility: All artists over the age of 18, working in any media in the spirit of plein air- completing a work of art on site, outside, in the open air (sculpture, photography, digital imaging will not be accepted).

    Artists who have been selected to participate must have all works framed and ready to hang. Any work done on gallery wrap canvases must have sides painted.

    There is a $35 non-refundable entry fee. After clicking the send button, you will automatically be taken to a new page for your payment.
