April Update

As a nonprofit, you are continually dreaming about all the good you can do if only… if only more people knew about CNMA, if only we could fundraise more, if only we had more capacity, if only we had a better website… and then organizations like the Western Colorado Community Foundation (WCCF) and generous donors like the Dave and Mary Wood Fund, come along and give wings to your dreams.

How appropriate that WCCF gifted this money to CNMA as a part of their Dreaming Forward grants! They gave this money for a strategic branding and marketing initiative which includes this fancy, uber cool new website which we’re obviously very excited about.

In celebration of WCCF’s 25th Anniversary, 10 Dreaming Forward grants were awarded to organizations working within the Foundation’s leadership areas. Grants supported nonprofits with funding for capacity building and or growth/expansion, expanding competencies, strategic planning and leadership development to help these organizations Dream Forward.

We are so grateful for their support, as well as the support from the City of Fruita who kicked an extra $1,000 our way as a part of their mini-grant program for this marketing plan.

We realized we hadn’t been telling our story—displaying our character to our communities, celebrating our successes, allowing more people to get to know us- and we’re so excited to share more of who we are and what we do here on our new website’s blog and on social media. Keep checking back for new content.

In addition to the website, be on the look out for new membership materials with the same branding, a poll circulating around our communities, new marketing, a CNMA strategic plan and more! CNMA is getting a makeover and we’re excited to show all of you!
