Science backs up our view that nature is good for your mental and physical health! That's why we create events and programs to bring in people from all backgrounds - get out, get involved and reap the benefits of being in nature!
June 8 @ 9:00 am - 10:30 am
Join us for a short yoga flow session followed by a mediation hike.
We’ll begin our day with a 30 minute yoga flow class surrounded by the monument and then set out on our hike for a guided meditation to center your thoughts and focus your attention on the natural surroundings. This meditation aims to enhance your awareness of the sights, sounds, and sensations of the environment.
Join us for a day of mindful exploration, where each step becomes a meditation, and the beauty of nature becomes a source of inner peace. This Yoga Flow and Meditation Hike are suitable for all levels. We look forward to sharing this tranquil experience with you.
Elizabeth Whitt will guide us in a 30 minute yoga flow class. She has been a yoga instructor for 9 years and is the owner of Yogi Dreamer Malas.
Bryan Whitt will lead us on a slow-paced hike focused on meditation. You will learn how to turn your hikes into a walking meditation. Bryan is a lifetime student of yoga disabled and a veteran who has found healing and purpose through yoga and meditation.
