Winter Wonderland Children's Book Reading

A Creative Adventure with Denise Wright

Join us for a winter wonderland of stories and art! Denise Wright, a local artist and former teacher, will read a selection of children’s books and guide young artists in creating beautiful snowflake art in the Colorado National Monument Visitor’s Center Auditorium. Children and parents can look forward to a morning of captivating storytelling, hands-on art projects, and the opportunity to appreciate the wonders of nature in the beautiful setting of the monument.

Parents can enjoy a 15% discount on the book featured during Denise’s reading at the Rim Rock Shop.

Who’s Invited: School-aged children, accompanied by a grown-up.

What to Bring:

  • An open mind and a sense of wonder
  • Kid-friendly scissors

Where to Meet: Saddlehorn Visitor Center Auditorium

  • Park passes are required. Please carpool if possible.
  • Adult supervision is required at all times.
