Explore the majesty of bighorn sheep
Join retired geologist and former park ranger, Don Regan and retired geologist, Roger Smith for an unforgettable hike into the heart of desert bighorn sheep territory. This 5-mile, 4-5 hour strenuous hike offers a chance to immerse yourself in the Monument’s stunning scenery, regardless of wildlife sightings. Bring binoculars or a spotting scope to maximize your viewing experience, along with ample water, snacks, layers, and a packed lunch.
