Join local artist, Cedar Keshet for an evening of exploring nocturne art and sky gazing at Saddlehorn Picnic Area. A moonlit night can bring peaceful quiet and mystery. Both feelings are evoked in nocturnes, or paintings depicting nightfall lit by the moon, stars and lamplight.  

We will be creating simple nocturne artwork with supplies provided. No previous art skills are required, just a willingness to have fun and try a new activity.

• Date : June 11th at 6:30 PM 
• Location: Saddlehorn Picnic Area 
• Registration: Risk forms must be signed prior to the event. 
• Bring: Headlamps, (We want to keep it night sky friendly, no big lights, please.) reflective clothing- safety vest, bug spray, camp chair, jacket or sweater, any portable art supplies you would like, but not necessary, dinner or snacks and water.

 Note: Park passes are required. Carpooling is encouraged. The event may be cancelled or postponed due to the weather.
