Uncover the mysteries of this intriguing gap in the rock layers

Come learn about the Redlands Fault and Redlands Monocline, geologic structures that explain some of landscape within Colorado National Monument. We’ll also chat about the Great Unconformity, another geological gem hidden away in our CNM rock layers.

Dr. Cassandra Fenton is an Assistant Professor of Geosciences at CMU. She teaches introductory geology courses, Applied Geochemistry, Mineralogy,  and Climate Change Science.

Monument on Tap, a lecture series that will take the learning out of the park while supporting our local community. Monthly education series to be held on Wednesdays at Copper Club Brewing.
