Please join our Community Artist in Park, Cedar Keshet for an evening of exploring nocturne art and sky gazing at Saddlehorn Picnic Area. A moonlit night can bring peaceful quiet and mystery. Both feelings are evoked in nocturnes, or paintings depicting nightfall lit by the moon, stars and lamplight.
We will be creating simple nocturne artwork with supplies provided. No previous art skills are required, just a willingness to have fun and try a new activity. Cedar Keshet was raised in the desert of southern New Mexico, where riding horses and sketching the landscape shaped her deep connection to the land. Inspired by the colors, light, and vast skies of the west, she paints both outdoors and in the studio, using oils.
