Join Sophie Marxer, our 2025 Scientist in the Parks Intern, who launched COLM’s first-ever raptor monitoring program!
Join Sophie Marxer, our 2025 Scientist in the Parks Intern share information and experiences while launching the first-ever raptor monitoring program at Colorado National Monument. This raptor monitoring program is aimed to collecting key data on nesting success, territory locations, and disturbance impacts.
Sophie Marxer has a background in ecosystem management and hands-on experience with wildlife, Sophie brings a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm to this important new effort. This pilot program was funded by the Park Service and Colorado National Monument Association.
Monument on Tap is a CNMA lecture series that takes the learning out of the park and into the community—supporting local voices, shared knowledge, and meaningful connection.
We are very excited to partner with Colorado Craft Coffee and Beer House. For our event, they have graciously offered 15% off all beverages for CNMA members. They do not have food on the menu, but all outside food is allowed, so please feel free to bring your dinner with you! There is some parking in the front and the sides of the building, but we are allowed to park in the Jimmy John’s parking lot as well.
