Colorado National Monument Association 2026 Annual Calendar Contest

This year Colorado National Monument Association will be releasing just one version of its popular annual calendar depicting the scenic beauty of Colorado National Monument. The 2026 Annual Calendar will be sold at the Saddlehorn Visitor Center and on our website, Rim Rock Shop.

All proceeds from calendar sales provide support for education, research, outreach, and National Park Service projects within Colorado National Monument. You can read more about the projects we are funding, here.

Participating in the annual calendar contest is an opportunity to showcase the many talented local artists to our community of Colorado National Monument enthusiasts. We thank you for your support!

Artwork Selection Criteria:

Artwork will be selected for the following calendar locations:

• Cover
• Monthly Featured Images
• Monthly Grid Images (smaller, up to 3 per page)

Accepted Mediums Include:

• Photography
• Watercolor/Gouache
• Oil/Acrylic
• Collage
• Pastel/Oil Pastel
• Multimedia

Eligible subjects include any artwork that depicts the flora, fauna, geology, and or/or any scene contained within Colorado National Monument.

Maximum of 10 entries per artists.

Submission deadline extended to Thursday, February 20, 2025.

Application Requirements:

• Review and complete the 2026 CNMA Calendar Entry Form, including the release section on pg. 3.
  • 2026 CNMA Calendar Entry & Release Form – Deadline Extended
• Completed entry form must be included with the submitted images.
• Images must be submitted on a flash drive or through a Google Drive Link. (Find additional details on the entry form.)
• Please note – we are unable to accept images formatted onto CDs.

2026 CNMA Annual Calendar Key Dates:

• February 20, 2025 – Submissions due.
• March 15, 2025 – Acceptance notifications sent.
• Summer 2025, Date TBD – 2026 Colorado National Monument Association Calendars available for sale.
