Featuring Kathryn Mientka Farruggia & Special Guest Javier de los Santos
Enjoy a captivating performance by critically acclaimed pianist Kathryn Mientka Farruggia.
Kathryn Mientka Farruggia, an acclaimed pianist, has performed internationally with the Mientka Duo, featured on NPR, PBS, and at the National Gallery of Art. Holding a Master’s in Music Performance from USC, she has taught at universities, directed concert series, and championed the DS 5.5 narrow-keys keyboard. Kathryn currently teaches piano and music theory at Colorado Mesa University. Read Kathryn’s fill bio here.
Classical Guitarist Javier de los Santos will accompany Kathryn for this performance.
Javier de los Santos holds a Master of Music in Guitar Performance from the University of Denver and has studied with renowned maestros worldwide. He has performed extensively, including with Pepe Romero and various symphonies. Based in Grand Junction, CO, Javier teaches at Colorado Mesa University, directs music at St. Joseph Catholic Church, and leads the Western Colorado Guitar Society and Mariachi San Jose.
